An exciting new post is available in Yateley to develop St Peter’s Church’s engagement with the local community through existing and new initiatives. Utilising well established community links through the Discoveries Charity Shop and Café 46, the Youth & Community Worker will have the opportunity to develop further the Church’s mission into Yateley.

The work will also include overseeing Youth work within the Church as well as supporting other locally based youth provision such as Vision4Youth – all well-resourced by dedicated volunteer teams.

There will be no organised Summer Fun this Thursday 9th August, but we will be back again on Thursday 16th.

The marquee behind Cafe 46 will remain available to anyone who wants to make use of the resources there.

Discoveries are looking to appoint a paid Saturday Assistant.

The role includes supporting the current staff and volunteers in the receipt & processing of donations, pricing goods, assisting customers and other varied duties.

A new opportunity now exists for a paid Facilities Operative for St Peter’s Church.

The person appointed will be responsible for providing a high standard of cleaning, maintenance and general caretaking tasks to the Church building, Discoveries, Café 46, Chaddisbrook House and external grounds. 25 hours per week with flexible working pattern.
