The main service on a Sunday morning at Church End Green starts at 10am.

It is worship for people of all ages, with children's groups and facilities for families with young children.

Each Sunday at 10am we meet at Church End Green as a congregation of all ages. We worship in a contemporary style with traditional influences, underpinned by Biblical teaching as we learn how to follow Jesus together.

Each service is different - we share Communion together on alternate weeks, and one Sunday a month is an informal All-Age service, usually including baptisms. The service normally lasts between 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 hours and we have refreshments after the service. We also offer prayer ministry after each service. All are welcome to join us in our worship.

We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable at Church End Green, so we have a “Family Room” designed for 0-3s and their parents or carers. The service is relayed through into the room, and we will be putting a screen up in there soon so that parents don’t feel they are missing out on the service. There are toys and activities for people to use if they choose, but parents and children are equally welcome in the service, and it is the norm that parents and carers wander in and out with their children.

We run two children’s groups at Church End Green, one for pre-school and reception children (3-5s) and one for those aged 6 and above. Each session involves a variety of age-appropriate activities to help children access the teaching of the week for themselves, and our gifted and creative leaders use crafts, drama and games to ensure that the children have a good time as they are learning. The children return to the service before the end and for Communion so they can worship alongside their parents.

There’s also a youth group, ‘Soul Food’, taking place on a Sunday morning for all those between school years 7 and 11. Click on the panel left for more information.
