We have taken a group of young people to the ‘Soul Survivor’ conference at Shepton Mallet in Somerset many times over the past years.

Here’s a brief video of our visit to Soul Survivor in 2015.

At St Peter’s, we offer young people the chance to look at what it is to grow closer to Jesus, and how faith is relevant to everyday live. We aim to be fun, welcoming and life-changing for those who are to be the future of the church.

There’s a youth group taking place on a Sunday morning for all those between school years 7 and 11.

It meets at Yateley School each Sunday (except the All-Age weeks). We will be worshipping, looking at the Bible and having fun together, and there will be bacon sandwiches to help tempt young people (and leaders?) out of bed!

For young people aged 11-18, we have a group called Y-Friday, meeting every Friday in the Church Centre from 7-9pm. We alternate between a week with planned activities and then a week with free space to chill and chat for the first hour and then a worship time with a talk.

There is a small charge of 50p each week, to contribute towards the equipment that we use, and a tuck shop runs each week.

On alternate weeks, we kick off with a social time from 7pm. Then from 8.15pm we intentionally focus on meeting Jesus through cafe-style worship, with a short talk and the chance to discuss things in small groups. We also pray for ourselves and the world around us.
